Steve Agey

Steve Agey serves as Chief Distribution Officer of BITCO Insurance Companies. He oversees the company’s distribution strategy and operations, bringing extensive experience across underwriting, distribution, and field operations.

Steve joined BITCO in 1989 in the Home Office as a Premium Auditor Reviewer. In 1990, he transferred to the New Orleans Branch as a Premium Auditor, working in Mississippi and Louisiana. In late 1993, he moved to the Des Moines Branch as an Underwriter Trainee and has held a variety of roles in underwriting, distribution, and field operations over the subsequent years.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and the CPCU designation. Outside of work, Steve enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife, Michelle, their three daughters, and five grandchildren.
