Brittany Hessman

Brittany Hessman serves as Vice President of Human Resources at BITCO Insurance Companies, a position she has held since 2019. In this role, Brittany oversees all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies and regulations. She leads a team of five HR professionals and provides strategic guidance to ensure effective execution of HR initiatives, partnering with senior leadership to drive people-focused programs that support business objectives.

An accomplished HR leader with 15 years of experience across diverse industries, Brittany has a strong track record of building and evolving HR functions to meet organizational needs. Her background spans corporate and embedded HR roles in public and private companies, including media, manufacturing, and insurance. Brittany has led HR technology implementations, large-scale policy overhauls, employee engagement initiatives, and company mergers and integrations. Known for building high-performing teams and scaling people operations during growth and start-ups, she aligns HR strategy closely with business goals.

Brittany holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Human Resources and maintains active professional certifications through SHRM (SHRM-CP) and HRCI (PHR). Outside of work, Brittany enjoys being active and spending time with her family, including her husband and two children.
