Kevin Helbing

Kevin Helbing serves as Chief Financial Officer of BITCO Insurance Companies, a position he has held since 2023. In this role, Kevin is responsible for the production of financial statements as well as the planning and analysis of BITCO’s overall performance, providing strategic financial leadership across the organization.

Kevin began his career outside of insurance, spending time in hotel and restaurant management, newsprint, and trucking before finding his path in the insurance industry. He started on the brokerage side with Marsh in 2000 as an Accounting Manager, advancing to a Treasury role, and later moved to the insurance company side with United Fire Group in 2008, where he held various Controller positions.

Kevin holds the AIAF and CPCU designations from The Institutes. Outside of work, he has completed three marathons, including Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, MN, and now enjoys bicycling.
