Jesus Unzueta

Jesus started his BITCO career in 2025 as Chief Information Officer. He is leading all aspects of Information Technology and Cybersecurity across our company, including a multi-year modernization journey, establishing AI practices and use cases, and innovation of Data Services.

Prior to joining BITCO, Jesus held Global CIO/Senior leadership roles at Builders Mutual, MetLife, TrueBlue, and SIRVA where he was a strategic business leader focused on delivering technology transformation, enabling business growth objectives, and improving the experience of customers and employees. Jesus has led multiple teams focused on building innovative IT solutions driving customer value across numerous industries. He is the recipient of an InfoWorld "Technology Leadership Award" for technology creation and advancement and has been featured in Hispanic Executive and CIO Review.

Jesus holds a Master’s degree from The University of Southern California and completed a two-year Technology Management program at California Institute of Technology. He also served in the US Marine Corps. Outside of work, Jesus enjoys spending time with his wife Christyn and their six kids, photography, RVing to National Parks, reading, and working in their family woodworking and design business.
